Another day . . at least I didn't get woken up by next door's dog barking at all hours of the night (makes a change)

1 day after Easter and all the eggs are less than 1/2 price in the shops.

SCANDALLOUS !!

How do people sleep in their beds at night . . ho-hum . . if only we lived in a perfect world . . (I guess I would be absent from a perfect world . .) :0(

Anyway - it's outrageous that Easter eggs are SO marked down 24 hours after Easter Monday.

Went to a pet shop or 2 . . (how can I stop my addiction?)

I saw some more birds - but just can't replace Candle. I am torn between not wanting to defile her memory and struggling to deal with a gaping hole in my life.

HELP !

The guy in the petshop was rushed off his feet - but he said that I could go ahead and let myself into the bird enclosure and look for a bird that "felt right" - he said he trusted me - as he said I was "part of the furniture"

(shows how much money and time I spend in his shop, doesn't it?)

Anyway - found a lovely bird - but she was scared and she bit me. Not her fault.

I'm even more confused now.

Will go to the beach later today - after hubbs has phoned and the sun has got slightly cooler.
