okay - here goes.
It's Easter Sunday here.
Children are eating chocolate eggs.
None for me . . I think it's all quite pointless - I'd much rather have a big hunk of quality chocolate in a bar shape than a tiny egg shape of cheap chocolate hollowed out - but then I guess that's my age showing.
Husband is not here - he's working away from home - that's what he does. He's a good Husband and I feel that I am very lucky to be blessed with 14 good years of marriage in this day and age.
Still feeling a sense of emptiness over the loss of my small parrot. She was beautiful and only 1 year old.
She gave me so much love and joy - she would sit on my shoulder all day long and rub her head on my face and neck and nibble little kisses to me.
She died on Wed 19th March when she flew into a window and broke her little neck. I don't know what spooked her or why she did that.
I miss her so much.
So - that's me - my first blog. :0)
